Urgent Fundraiser
Please Help Us To Recover!
Hello, if we have given you this link, we hope you will keep in contact with us and help us to rebuild our dream. Our original dream had been to save our family's home, and its thriving regenerative urban food forest garden; Unfortunately, we were taken advantage of (long complicated story) and lost our home. But, Even though we were evicted from our home, we believe this can help us to help others even more. But first, we need your help to help us to recover!
There are several ways you can help. If you are in Houston, and can help with transportation, we are in desperate need of help with transportation! If you can help us get from location to location, you would be a lifesaver! The next biggest area we need a ton of help with is Funding! - first, to get back on our feet, and second, to get the aircrete machine and materials needed so we can build a minishelter home just big enough to shelter our tiny little family.
After we have built our own home, from there our goal is to build more shelters for all the assortment of people we know who are also homeless and living out of their car. Like our own shelter, it will be a place they can feel safe from the rain and weather that they can feel relatively safe in. We have some family and friends who have a tiny bit of land that they would be willing to share, if the folks will help cover the cost of the taxes and will keep the grounds maintained. it wont be much, but it will be affordable, and the bonus is our speciality is in creating urban food forests. Between offering folks a small but dry place to sleep, and access to fresh food, we can help our community to learn how to live regeneratively and holistically with affordable housing and regenerative food forests.

Our Three Pillars of Purpose
This fundraiser isn't just about saving our house; it's about family security, making sure our elderly grandmother gets to keep living in the home she knows, and making sure our families history isn't lost.
1. Secure Our Sanctuary
**Goal: Build an Emergency Home (& someday Buy Back Our Old Home).** We urgently need to raise $10,000 so we can build a small mini aircrete home to help keep mom & family protected from the elements and safe. Someday we would also love to earn/rasie up $700,000 to buy back our family's home that we lost to the company that acquired it from my ex. But first we need to make sure we have an immediate place to live & call home bc we cannot afford to live in a hotel for much longer or be couch surfing.
butBut just imagine if 7,000 people were actually willing to share **$100 each** to make the second goal a reality, lol. but for right now, we would consider ourselves lucky if we can just get 100 people to let us have $100 so we could afford to get an aircrete machine and building supplies to build a well insulated emergency shelter.
2. Scale the Oasis Model
**Helping Others Also Have a Home & a Garden:** We would also like to help other families as well to be able to also have a home & a garden.
If we ever raise up enough, then we would also like to help those who are struggling to keep their current home, so they do not have to go through what we have gone through.
But first, it would help if could have a safe space to sleep, cook & stay in.
Please help us have a consistent safe place for our familly to live and sleep, so from there we can teach people how to produce abundant food, in an urban setting, and how to have their own safe place to call home at a profit.
3. Future-Proof Humanity
**Global Impact:** Long term, we hope to also help others all of the world to also always have access to a shelter similar to type of minihome we hope to build for ourselves and to make sure everyoen everwhere has access to a garden. Or if they already have a regular traditional nonproducing garden, we hope to build to help others to transform their gardens into an edible oasis. We believe that for humanity to survive and thrive during the upcoming climate and economic upheavals, cities need to have more edible urban gardens.
Instead of paying for a person to have a meal and shelter for a night, we hope to teach people how to have **enough food & shelter for life.**
But first we need your help to have our own immediate shelter, and we need your help to do this.

The Full Story: Why This Fight Matters
Saving Urban Eden: Why This Garden—and Your Support—Matter Now
If you’ve ever rounded a city corner and come across a flourishing patch of green, you know the quiet wonder an urban garden can spark. Our family knows this magic intimately. For over 50 years, our home and garden have stood as a living legacy—a vibrant oasis open to all who walked by and anyone yearning to reconnect with the land. Today, both our home and garden are in need of your contribution to helping us to keep this land from being taken from our family and turned into yet another urban sinkhole. This is our story, a plea for your partnership, and a vision for how together, we can cultivate hope for generations to come to keep our home and garden a space of abundance that can provide for and can continue to give back to the nearby community.
Deep Roots: Over a Half-Century of Urban Sanctuary
In a way our story began with my mothers family whom my mother tells me once used to grow many edible plants in a garden. Her mother taught her a love for the land. At first in my early years, i did not think i had inherited both my grandmother's and mothers green thumb bc for myself, I couldn't seem to keep a plant alive even if my life depended upon it. But despite my lack of seemingly inabilities and understanding at the time, my family had taught me to see beyond the empty dirt, but to see in the land the potential of all that was and all that could be. But it wasn't just my mother that taught me a love for this land.
When my mother met my father, he wanted not just any old everyday piece of land, but he seeked and searched for a special space that called to him as a space with a special sort of spiritual connection. When he came across our home and land, he fell in love with it and decided with its super large living carpeted livingroom, that it would be perfect for his mini meditation hall. And insisted that this was the space that our family would be able to help others to heal with.
And so they bought the home as a safe harbor, a safe haven for dad's spiritual journey and mother's connection to the plants with which to raise their kids in. Our home was a place of both physical and spiritual nourishment, connection, and stability. People came and went out of our lives, but the home was the one stable constant even though it, too, was also always changing. But through out the decades, our home & gardens was a connection to what once was, to what is now, and also a connection to what will come to be.
It became an extra special space of healing, of connection, of respite, of rejuvenation and of peace.
When it was my father's time to pass away, he begged to be allowed to be released from the hospital so that he could come home and die in that space of peacfulness. I remember when we arrived at the house, he asked if he could take a moment to be allowed to just sit in the garden before going in. We turned his wheelchair around to face the garden and the trees, and he took a deep breath and sighed in relief. He was home. He could be at peace now. He sat their for a long time appreciating being home, taking it all in until as the evening hum came, he asked if he could then be take inside.. We laid him down in his bed and a few hours later he passed away. He was home, he could let go and move on in a state of peacefulness. His soul could finally rest.
We often imagine his soul and spirit essense has become entertwined with the garden and a part of the home's living tapestry: filled with edible green, the humming of life, layers of life, the joy of natures harmony and interaction thoughtout every aspect of the garden. An ecosystem of life on all levels. .
What is irreplaceable is the connection and wisdom of this land we have to share with other... Our garden is a place where people can come and visit adn connect to nature without having to go drive hours outside of the city to get. where you can warm your spirit and being with the greenery's song, where you can connect to the healing energy of a fully living system right inside the city, and where struggling souls can find both food and a rejuvenation and to ease their lonilness with a deep connection to our family.
. To lose this space would erase more than plants and memories—it would silence a very unique specail source of renewal for all that could benefit and heal from what our land and all that our family has to offer from this very special healing synergistic piece of land. This special piece of land is where our family gains its strength from that we then pass on and try to share with the world.
Please help us to be allowed to continue to share this very special place on this earth with you & others. please help us protect it and keep it safe.
More Than Vegetables: A Powerful Urban Education Hub
In a city where fresh produce is often an unaffordable luxury, our vision extends far beyond preserving just our own garden, though. IF you help us raise up enough to not only help us save our own home and garden but to also be able to help others as well, we would like to make what we have in our garden to become available to anyone anywhere.. Often people inside a city believe you have to leave the city to have what we have. We believe every city dweller should get the chance to learn how you can enjoy a thriving, edible oasis with an urban food forest—even in the smallest yard or balcony or window space, even under the strictest HOA situation..
We would like to be able to share videos, host workshops, & teach courses on how to create regenerative oasi no matter where or how you live. We can help companies with integratiing regenerative systems and food forests into their work spaces, how to recycle their food waste, and how to create regenerative landscaping even with city regulations and neighborhood associations. Regardless of whether you are an indivdual person living in a super small apartment or a highrise, or a company that wants to provide more for its employees, we can also teach you how to transform your surrounding, your balconies and your window spaces into sources of sustenance and pride.
Even if it just starts with one single foot by square foot little tiny space on a countertop.. With our guidance, we can grow your confidence alongside your harvests. we can help you to grow such an abundance that you will have plenty to share with others. we will retrain your mind, and transform your being.. frankly, it's all about shifting mindsets about what’s possible within the city limits. and we are fully capable of helping with that if you will allow us to.
Every dollar you donate towards our cause strengthens our ability to reach even more city residents—bringing food security, ecological knowledge, and practical joy through hands-on learning and experiencing.
or you can buy one of personal consultation/coaching packages and experience it for yourself. :)
After we have saved our own home, all profits will go towards helping as many people as we can to gain the knowdedge and the experience of how to live in a regenerative world.
Food Security and Community Resilience—Right Where We Live
Statistics tell a troubling story: food insecurity is rising in urban centers, with low-income families hit hardest. While supermarkets are often blocks away, our garden and the other food forests we will create within the food deserts of the city will be just a simple sidewalk stroll away for neighbors in need.
But numbers alone can’t capture the transformative power of our place. Join us in our garden for comfort, rejuvenation, and comfort. let us remind you a connection to yourself , to the world, to nature, all with the harmony and love of a garden.
With your help, we can protect—and expand—your lifelines.
Saving our home means ensuring a model of urban nourishment .. a safe space, a healing node that can then multiply across our city, healing the city many gardens at a time... creating resilient pockets of abundance from within the city, where it is needed most.
Why the Urgency? What’s at Stake
Today, we face an existential threat. IF we do not raise up enough funds to buy back our home from the person my ex sold the home to, or at least raise up enough to entice a different investor to buy the home from the current person, then we could potentially end up losing our home to the current person who is hoping we will fail so they can tear down our home and take our land and develop yet another standard soul sucking ecologically unfriendly home. So we have some urgency to do raise up enough before the current owner gets tempted to evict our family out, so we need you help as quickly as you are wlling to help us raise up the finances to either back the home ourselves or to make it appealing enought for a different investor to work with us..
but on the even bigger scale, zoomed out, it is not only our own family's homes at stake, but with all the soaring prices and pained stuggling economy, the average person is at imminent risk of loss of security and having a place they can feel safe to raise their family in. Developers circle after profits and greed. We wish to raise up enough to not help save up our own space and prevent our family from getting ousted away from this special land that means so much to our family, but we wish to also be able to help others as well
If we lose this ground, not only will our elderly grandmother going to probably going to die of a heartattack from the pain of the stress of the loss, but the city and community will also lose a vital training ground for other future urban gardeners as well.
it will be the loss of an incredible and specail sanctuary for all who could benefit from what this special place has to offer in its ideal perfect teaching location for thousands of local nearby apartment dwellers and for others hoping to do a similar contribution for the city..
To deal with the immediate threat, we are seeking to raise $1 million immediately to not only regain ownership and stabilize our future but also to help other food desert areas within the city as well.
but after we have saved our own home, we hope you will also continue to support our even bigger goal of raising up $5 million to also secure, restore other smaller city lots to help replicate our regenerative food forest model citywide.
Your support—large or small—will determine whether this oasis continues to flourish or becomes just another city haven lost to the greed of whomever my sold our family's home to.
